Description
This probe is designed to be used with bracelet scanners and can also be operated manually. Its curvature radius of 35mm makes it ideal for examining welds in small diameter pipes, as it compensates for the de-focusing effect on those pipes. Additionally, its low profile of 12 mm, including the wedge, allows access in tight spaces between pipes. It is compatible with wedges of type 15 and SA15.
Typical application
Typically used for automated or manual inspectoin of tube to tube or tube to shell welds on smaller diameter tubes with limited access. Can also be used for plate applications where access is limited.
