Are our probes compatible with all phased array instruments available on the market?

Our probes are compatible with any instruments on the market. Contact our customer support team to select the proper element number and probe connector to suit your application. Should you require a non standad connector, our team can assemble it upon your specification.

Are your probes compatible with wedges from other suppliers?

Our standard probe come in common casing that match many wedges from the market. Our customer support team can propose you the proper probe/wedge configuration to suit your application.

How deep can I submerge immersion probes in water?

All probes are waterproof for immersion use under 30 meter. Beside, dedicated immersion probe have a front face layer that matches water accoustic impedance to deliver best signal transmission under water or with water based couplant. Vermon offers custom probes to operates in heavy underwter or deep sea conditions. You can discuss high pressure immersion application with our customer support service.

What is the temperature limit for Vermon NDT probes?

The recommended operating temperature range is -20° to 50º C. Please contact our customer service for your exterme temperature conditions application.

Do you have air coupled probes?

Vermon do not offer air couple transducer technology at the moment. All standard and custom probes from the Vermon portfolio are to be operated with a coupling medium.

Do you offer custom probes ?

Beside the standard probe portfolio,Vermon is specialized in custom probe design and engineering to adress specific customer requirements. Vermon manufactures all probe from the raw piezo material up to the finished product. Please contact our customer service support to start design your own probe.
